These terms do not supersede statutory rights under the Sale of Goods Act but are designed to clarify the principles and procedures by which we operate. Every care has been taken to ensure that the descriptions and specifications are correct where ever detailed. However, while colours and finishes displayed are a close representation, slight variations in the actual goods are likely to occur due to the pieces being individually made by hand. Delivery - UK Mainland Delivery is by Royal Mail Parcel Post or Courier. We aim to deliver within 3-10 days of receipt of your order. Unfortunately we cannot guarantee that every item is in stock permanently, although we do try our best. If an item is out of stock we will advise you of our anticipated delivery time. Orders up to £70.00 - £2.50 Delivery to the Rest of the World We can ship outside of the UK. We will need to check destination and parcel weight to enable us to give you a shipping quote and delivery time. We cannot pay tax or duty at the country of destination. Please contact us here for details of deliveries outside mainland UK. Refunds and Returns Policy If you are not completely satisfied with our product or service you can return the product within 14 days of receipt and we will provide a refund if you follow our agreement to do so. If you return an item to us which you did not order, the item is damaged or for any reason which is our fault, we will also pay the cost of the return carriage. If this happens, please contact us first on getinfo@knowyouronions.net and we will let you know how you should send the item to us. Please include a written reason for the return of the contents and return it with your parcel. You must remember to include your proof of purchase from Know Your Onions. You will be responsible for the item/s until they reach us. For your own protection, we suggest you use a secure delivery method which requires a signature upon delivery. The refund will be made by cheque within 30 days of the goods being returned. Unfortunately we cannot refund or exchange used goods. Please return to the address below. Customers in the rest of the world have 12 days from the date of receipt to return goods. If you do not inform us within the stated seven or twelve days, then we will have no liability for goods said to be damaged/faulty/incorrect on delivery. Refunds will be made by credit or debit card in Pounds Sterling. For returned goods that are not faulty and were correctly dispatched, a charge of 5% of the order value will be made to cover processing costs. If refunds cannot be made by credit or debit card, a foreign CHAPS payment in Pounds Sterling will be made directly to your bank account. For returned goods that are not faulty and were correctly dispatched, the customer will be responsible for all charges incurred by both Know Your Onions and themselves. Payment and Retention of Title Under normal circumstances goods must be paid for prior to dispatch. If, for any reason, goods are shipped prior to clearance of payments, title in the goods shipped belongs to Know Your Onions until full payment for the goods is received. Conversely, we will not normally process payment for goods until they are available for dispatch. Confidentiality/ Privacy Policy It is the policy of Know Your Onions not to pass on your information to any third party and we undertake to exercise all reasonable precautions to keep information supplied to us by customers strictly confidential. Know Your Onions may occasionally send to individuals via email, news of special promotions or marketing related information. If you do not wish to receive such emails from us you can contact us and we will honour your request. Information supplied to us may be stored on a computer system for our convenience, but will not be supplied to any third party. Changes to Terms and Conditions Know Your Onions shall be entitled to alter the Terms and Conditions at any time but this right shall not affect the existing Terms and Conditions accepted by the customer upon making a purchase. Governing Law and Jurisdiction These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and the parties hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
